Alesia Gilliland has been an officer of MAMA since its inception and has volunteered for countless charitable events that have raised tens of thousands of dollars for our musicians and the music community of the Montgomery area. Now it’s our turn to help her as she deals with some potentially serious health challenges that may require periodic in-home care as well as potentially causing gaps in her medical insurance coverage. So that’s where we come in!!!
We are looking to raise (tax deductible) donations through MAMA to contribute entirely to Alesia to help her through this challenging period. To kick off the process, we are teaming up with Johnny Sullivan and Sinclair’s East for a fundraiser on Sunday July 24 from 4-7PM. OTI and Bama Sound will be donating performances for this initial event which will be dedicated to Alesia and her recovery.
